The Tacoma Branch of the NAACP invites you to our 27th Annual Freedom Fund Awards Banquet on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the Hotel Murano in downtown Tacoma.

Join us as we celebrate justice, honor excellence, and stand together — because freedom belongs to all of us.

Under the theme "We the People," this landmark evening calls our community to remember that the promise of America has always been a collective one — and that the work of civil rights is the work of us all. Washington State Supreme Court Justice Helen Whitener will deliver the keynote address, awards, and scholarships will be presented to honor students and community members whose service and sacrifice have helped move us closer to that promise.
